Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toniz Collins is also referred to as Antonietta Gonzalez-Collins in both the US as well as Mexico, is a Mexican-American sportscaster. She's an ESPN anchor on news, and she hosts SportsNation often. She started working at ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of the television reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta is a native bilingual. Since she was nine, Collins's ability to speak two languages has allowed her to get the job she wanted in Miami as an assistant producer at Univision. The family were moved from Veracruz Mexico to Mexico City where she was born on 22 November 1985. She has an older sister. In 1992 the family left Mexico to the US and eventually settled in Miami. Within a brief time her father split from her mother. She was subsequently remarried by 1995 naval architect called Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died of kidney cancer in the year 2006. It was on a holiday in the summer that she lived with her sibling at Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl was offered an employment. Antonietta, a high-school senior with an idea of what she would like her life to be, visited Mount Union University to see what she could get out of the college. The result was that she liked the campus, and the university provided the degree she was looking for. She graduated from high school and began studying media at the college. Mark Bergmann, her professor who also managed the WRMU's 91.1FM station for which she worked for a number of years, was an acquaintance. The professor encouraged her to be confident and was greatly moved by his enthusiasm for journalism.
