Williams' parents divorced at the age of a girl. She was then brought up in Tribeca Manhattan by her mother following her upbringing by her father. She was raised in Queens by her father who was a firefighter. Williams went to Chinatown New York High School located in Chelsea as well as Nazareth College, Rochester NY.
